Mrs. Tiffany Roy
I was born and raised in Abbeville, AL. I am a graduate of Abbeville High School, Class of 2007 salutatorian. I currently hold a bachelors of science degree in Biology with a minor in Education from Alabama State University and also have a Masters of Education degree in Instructional Leadership from the University of West Alabama. As an educator in AL for over ten years I have always taught middle school Life Science/Physical Science and for the past 8 years I've been the Biology teacher at Abbeville High School, as well as the AHS Robotics Sponsor.
My main titles outside of work include wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend. I have three beautiful daughters, Jaiden age 14, Riahlee age 13, and Makena age 5. When not working my family and I spend most of our time traveling and exploring the world.
As the Dean of Academics and a former Biology teacher, my educational philosophy is rooted in the belief that education should empower students to embrace the challeneges of the world, develop a deep sense of curiosity, and sustain essential skills for lifelong learning. I view education as a transformative journey that extends far beyond the classroom, shaping students into critical thinkers, responsible citizens, and compassionate human beings.
